same complaint as many others. I am fine with micro-transactions, and i am ok with ads, I know they need to be able to monetize the ad to stay in business. however, the fact that you are forced to spend $$$ just to advance in the game (some decisions might cost up to $20 of real money). the only good subscription option is $99 and there is no way this game is worth the spend. stay clear!

We understand your concern. The high-cost options are meant to reflect tough leadership choices, but you don’t need to buy them to keep playing. We’ve also rebalanced things in the latest chapter so there are more affordable paths forward. Ads and timers can be disabled with the sub if that part feels too heavy.

Initially, I was excited to try House of Power, but my experience quickly turned frustrating. Progress in the game is severely restricted unless you buy funds, which are overpriced. If you restart, you lose everything. The sheer volume of ads is overwhelming—you need to watch five just to proceed to the next segment. If you want to skip them, you're forced to pay, yet even then, random ads continue to pop up. There should be a fair way to earn funds in-game without having to spend real money!

We’re sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with House of Power. We’ve recently added a new chapter and made balance updates to improve progression and in-game resource management. Ads and timers can be disabled with an in-app purchase, and we’re working on making the gameplay smoother for players who don’t want to spend.

So far I like the premise of the game and it definitely has potential to be a great game. I gave it 2 stars because you have to spend money in order to continue playing. I've experienced games like this before but there were still ways to progress in the game without spending real money. Another issue is the 45 minute wait time or watching 5 ads. So now I have to spend real money and watch ads (that generates money for the company, including pop up ads) just to progress in the game, so im stuck.

Thanks for your feedback! The game's designed so you can progress without spending money, but we get that the ads and wait times can feel frustrating. Ads can be removed with an in-app purchase, and we’ll look into balancing progression better. We appreciate your thoughts!
